A new type of spring for RWD drift produced by Team Yokomo is now available! Setting is made easier by clarifying the purpose of use, such as the road surface and driving image. By intentionally not painting it, we have enhanced its function as a spring and maximized the characteristics of the material.
The direct type for the front is a rough winding type with excellent response. It responds sharply to steering operations and improves operability with a high sense of ground contact. Even when driving at high speeds, understeer due to front brakes is less likely to occur, making it possible to captivate the gallery with its powerful entry speed.
Two types are available for the rear: forward type and side grip type. The forward type has a good response to throttle operation, and the sensation of acceleration that pushes the machine forward is attractive. It brings out high exercise performance and produces dynamic drifting. For competition layouts where starting acceleration is the key point, the forward type acceleration feeling will give you an advantage.
The side grip type utilizes the characteristics of multiple windings to provide smooth suspension operation that flexibly follows the road surface, achieving highly stable drifting and cornering. With unprecedented improvement in controllability, it is the best match for driving on technical circuits. It has a high degree of freedom in drifting angles even in chase races and group races, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is a training spring for pursuit meisters.
Both types come in two types: all-round, suitable for carpet/asphalt roads, and soft, suitable for P-tile/concrete roads, making the set suitable for all circuits/all road surfaces with a total of 6 types of springs. Thank you.
