Aluminum chassis made from custom-produced 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum. The special design with bent sides ensures that different areas of the chassis have the proper flex - either stiff or soft - to decrease the CG. The precision milling allows the chassis to be stiff enough to perform properly without risk of bending. The flex of the front part of the chassis increases reactivity and provides more space for the electronics. Two sets of mounting holes allow installation of the optional chassis weight or electronics plate for easier maintenance and weight balance adjustments. The rear section of the chassis was shortened to allow mounting the suspension holder directly to the gearbox independent of the chassis plate CNC-machined from high-quality 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the chassis is lightweight without affecting strength or rigidity, and is additionally black coated at XRAY's own in-house fully-robotic coating line.
