CNC-machined layshaft bulkhead made from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum. The all-new layshaft bulkheads were lowered by 1mm to allow the removal of front or rear (or both) screws which connect the top deck. Due to the 1mm gap between the top deck and the layshaft bulkheads, the flex of the car is smoother and more precise since the top deck does not touch the layshaft bulkheads any more, the bearing is fixed to the layshaft bulkhead and does not move. When the layshaft screws on the top deck are required, a 1mm shim is inserted between the layshaft bulkheads and the top deck. This new feature improves the flex adjustability of the car to better adapt it to different track conditions and surfaces.
