This is a 1/48 plastic assembly model set of the planes that desperately defended the German skies against the intense attacks of the Allied Forces during the final stages of WWII. The Allied Forces B-17 and B-24 heavy bombers often faced the formidable Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-8/A-8 R2. The world&39;s first jet fighter the Messerschmitt Me262 also played an active role in the defense of Germany, and was the greatest menace to the Allied bombers and their support fighters. The Focke-Wulf Fw190 D-9, which had the flamboyant striped markings of the famous JV44 unit, rounds out the set. Furthermore, the Citroen 11CV which was often used as a staff car by the German pilots is also included.
