AMG-Tuned Super Mercedes

At the 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the 500SL was unveiled as Mercedes&39; top-of-the-line covertible sports car. While quite potent in stock form, AMG took the car even further with special modifications such as increasing the engine displacement from 5 liters to 6 liters for a 381hp output. Aerodynamic enhancements such as front bumper, side skirts and rear spoiler, as well as a reinforced suspension gave the car a custom feel.
