Honda S800
By the 1960s, Honda had already established itself as a leading motorcycle manufacturer. Using the experience and expertise gained from their motorcycles, the company began to develop passenger cars, and the S800 was the culmination of Honda&39;s first sports car series that began with the S500. Debuting at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show, the S800 featured an 800cc DOHC 4-cylinder engine matched with a chain-drive system. These innovations gave the S800 respectable performance for its time and the car was successful in various race events around the world.
