About the 2004 Citro&65533; XsaraWith Citro&65533; taking out the 2003 Manufacturers Championship and Sebastien Loeb finishing second in the Drivers Championship, expectations were high for the Citro&65533; Xsara in Monte Carlo, the first race of the 2004 season. One of the most difficult races on the WRC circuit, race conditions for 2004 were tougher than usual with a mixture of snow, ice and dry tracks. Sporting the French tricolors of red, white and blue, Loeb steered his Citro&65533; Xsara to perfection leading from the beginning to take out his second consecutive victory at Monte Carlo. Loeb has followed up this impressive start with subsequent victories in Sweden, Cyprus and Turkey to lead the Drivers Championship and send Citro&65533; to the top of the Manufacturers Championship.
