2009 American Le Mans Race Car
This is a ready to run electric powered R/C model of the BMW M3 GT2, which was developed to participate in the 2009 American Le Mans Series GT2 class and went on to win 1st and 2nd places at Round 7 Road America. The car&39;s powerful form with wide fenders is accurately reproduced in durable polycarbonate while the side mirrors and high rear wing are molded separately for enhanced detail. Red and white LED lights are also included to depict realistic head and tail lights.
Enhanced Performance
The bathtub frame of the newly evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame are fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers that improve rigidity, as well as a 3-piece steering tie-rod that provides a smoother steering action. The low center of gravity, great balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce excellent operating ability. The chassis comes equipped with an electronic speed controller (ESC) for smooth throttle control.
