Struggling to fit sponge tires onto your F104 wheels is now a thing of the past thanks to this handy cone tool. This tool is coned which allows the hobbyist to easily slip over a foam tire onto Tamiya F104 foam wheels. When used in conjunction with lacquer thinner and foam tire glue, mounting tires is less messy and quicker. Hobbyists who like to use the included tire tape from the sponge tire sets can still take advantage of this tool by first attaching the tire tape onto the wheel, then spraying the wheel with motor spray and then quickly slipping the sponge tire with the help of the cone to quickly seat the tires and wheel. The cone tool is made from aluminum and anodized in Tamiya blue.
