For those of you looking to further the performance of the TRF 415 or the TB EVO III, look no further.
Upon the success of the TRF 415 chassis at the 2004 Reedy Race of Champions, Tamiya has released the Reversible Lightweight Suspension Set (49346) that comes standard in the new TB EVOLUTION 4. Surikarn Chaidisuriaya having taken the win in the Invitational class states that this new suspension set adds cornering speed and increased steering. The following features below describe some of the benefits to this new option parts set.
Increased steering is accomplished with the new steering knuckles which have more Ackerman.
Increased corner speed is achieved by the lighter weight suspension components and their design also lowers the center of gravity compared to the previous suspension system. The lower center of gravity also helps the chassis from rolling over during cornering.
Compared to the previous suspension system, the new suspension system increases the length of all camber links and steering links.
The hub carriers for both front and rear utilize a new smaller bearing size for less rolling mass.
Front and rear suspension arms are reversible so that a racer may opt to choose from 1 of 5 different lower shock positioning points.
2 degree and 4 degree front caster blocks are included. New 46mm Lightweight rear universals are standard. Steel 46mm are used for the front. New axle design to take advantage of the new bearing size.
