About the Audi A4 DTM 2005This year�s German Touring Car Championship (DTM) sees a total of 4 new generation A4 DTM cars as Audi faces rivals Opel and Mercedes in a quest for a second consecutive victory. Differences in the 2005 Audi A4 are most readily apparent in the single frame front radiator grille and new body shape. Changes are more than skindeep, however, with engineering revisions based on feedback from last year�s victorious season. The No.1 Audi, driven by M. Ekstrom, features lively and eye-catching Red Bull sponsor markings. This season looks good for Audi/Ekstrom, with Ekstrom at the top of the Drivers� ranking and Audi in the top spot for Manufacturers. Ekstrom has come in 1st in 2 and finished within the top 5 in all 7 races so far. DTM has 4 rounds left this year, which means it�s sure to be a nail-biter all the way to the end!
