\r\n\r\n About the JMSDF Defense SHip LST-4002 Shimokita\r\nTamiya&39;s release of the \"Ohsumi\" \r\nkit a few years ago was enthusiastically received by fans of the Waterline Series. \r\nThe next Japanese defense ship to be released in that series is the \"LST-4002 \r\nShimokita\". This ship was constructed with the longest hull of all the ships in \r\nthe JMSDF and first left the docks on Nov. 29, 2000. Its massive hull houses space \r\nfor two \"LCAC\" hovercraft transport vessels. To enlarge the armored deck of \"Shimokita\", \r\nit was constructed to flare out over the hull. Tamiya&39;s 1/700 rendition of the \r\nShimokita features elevator, well-dock, central gate of detailed design. Inside \r\nthe well dock rests two intricately recreated LCAC vessels. Armored flight deck \r\nand vehicle deck incorporate transparent parts, allowing for observation of the \r\ninterior even after completion. This kit is loaded with aircraft and vehicles \r\nincluding: two CH-47 helicopters, two SH- 60J fire-patrol helicopters, tanks, \r\nsmall military vehicles, large trucks, anti-aircraft vehicles, self-propelled \r\nguns, over 50 mini vehicles! A small missile launcher is even included. Modeling \r\nthis kit at two types of waterlines is also possible. Kit includes decals for \r\nship \"4002\". Length: 254mm, width: 37mm.
