The 2nd-generation Honda Prelude was released in 1982 and this front-wheel drive coupe had superb handling and ride comfort. It featured a front double wishbone and rear MacPherson strut suspension. It featured a wide 1,470mm tread, and an optional 4-wheel anti-lock braking system. It was powered by a 1,829cc 4-cylinder SOHC engine with three valves per cylinder. Coupled with the exhaust system and twin carburetors, the smooth revving engine produced 125hp and a top speed of 170km/h. The car&39;s low, wedge-shaped body was highlighted by retractable headlights and a sunroof to offer even greater driving pleasure. The Tamiya 1/24 scale model captures every detail of this iconic 1980&39;s sport coupe.
