Nissan's Fairlady Z needs little introduction to even a global audience, a massive hit that sold more than half a million units of the first generation S30 model in a mere nine years between 1969 and 1978. In November 1971 the S30 model line-up was embellished with the 240ZG, a car solely for the Japanese market that was endowed with an "aero dyna" nose featuring integrated bumper and spoiler, striking overfenders and headlamp covers, and a powerful 2.4-liter engine. This combination of timeless good looks and the sheer enjoyment of the ride has endeared the car to motoring afficionados from its release right into the modern day.
