Blue & White Liveried P34

The Tyrrell P34 with its extraordinary six-wheeled configuration debuted during the 1976 Formula One season. First National City Bank became the team&39;s main sponsor the following year so the previous all-blue livery was replaced by a blue and white livery accordingly. It also featured a more aerodynamic cowling design. Driven by P. Depailler and R. Peterson, the cars were caught up in a tire battle between Goodyear and Michelin which hampered development of the special front tires. In a bid to rediscover their form, the previous year&39;s cowling was reinstalled for the Monaco GP.
