The Team Kunitmitsu Raybrig NSX driven by S. Philipe and J. Dufour was one of 4 NSX machines entered for the 2005 Super GT season. Good results were hard to come by for the NSX teams until they made the switch from the twin turbo engine to the NA 3.5 liter engine. With the improved vehicle balance and lighter weight, the NSX rediscovered its performance potential, highlighted by the 1st place finish of the Raybrig NSX at Round 5 Motegi.
