The Honda CB1100R made its debut at the 1981 Earls Court Motorcycle Show in England. This high performance machine featured a race-inspired styling as well as a red frame, gold wheels, and a red/white livery. It was equipped with a double cradle type frame and a front air suspension and rear coil damper unit. The 1,062cc air-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC engine produced 115hp and enabled this street-legal racer to have a top speed of 220km/h. With many fans around the world, the CB1100R is still much-loved by its owners even today. The Tamiya 1/12 scale model is a faithful replica model kit that was originally introduced in 1982.
