About the XANAVI NISMO GT-R SUPER GT GT500 PRE-SEASON TEST CAR 2008
After four years of its self-imposed retirement in 2003, the expectations of a triumphant return for the GT-R were in no way overstated. Under this incredible pressure, the red and black of the XANAVI NISMO GT-R was used intensively in the pre-season of the GT-R's return debut in 2008 for testing and data collection. After starting with two successive victories, the GT-R continued on to claim the 2008 series championship. This model is a recreation of the pre-season test car that formed the first part of that road to glory. While sponsor logos were incomplete at the time, the finished color scheme was emblazoned on the memory of all who saw the GT-R's magnificent debut win at the Suzuka circuit on March 16, 2008.
