The uniquely designed 2-stepped deep-V hull of the EP Jet Stream 888VE powers through waves and delivers incredible speed and turning ability. For pure unrelenting racing performance, this model offshore racer leaves all in its wake. Ballast compartments built into the sides of the precision engineered high-strength FRP hull structure facilitate the self-righting of the hull. In the event of capsize, water enters the ballast compartment and alters the weight balance to return the hull to its original posture. When the boat starts moving again, water is released automatically so the boat can continue running as it was prior to capsizing. The unsinkable design of the hull structure removes the fear of this precious boat ever being lost to the depths below. The pre-installed brushless outrunner motor generates huge torque but minimizes cavitation through the large high-thrust propeller and also provides wide options for the choice of other propellers. PIP specifications make it so easy for anyone to enjoy the high performance of this model. The completed hull with power train, servos and linkages is ready to use with your own transmitter, receiver and 3 or 4-cell Li-Po battery. This PIP kit even includes features such as trim tabs and adjustable brackets for tuning running posture that will please expert-level racers.
