FIAT G.91 P.A.N. preserie
The Fiat G -91 was an interesting project, designed in the \'50s by the Italian \r\n engineer Giuseppe Gabrielli , to develop a light fighter bomber able to perform \r\n ground close support and reconnaissance duties. The project was particularly \r\n appreciate by several NATO Countries looking for a light, small, low cost, but \r\n reliable and maneuverable strike fighter. Further more some pre-production converted \r\n machines were used by Italian aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori, and knew \r\n as G-91 PAN. The G-91, equipped with smoke generators replaced, in 1963, the \r\n rather old F-86 Sabre, and equipped the flight line of aerobatic team for almost \r\n 20 years. With the characteristic “Frecce Tricolori” blue livery, \r\n the G-91 PAN was the protagonist of the most important airshows and events in \r\n the ‘60s and ‘70s. Only after 20 years of success, in the early \r\n ‘80s, the G- 91 was replaced by the new Aermacchi MB-339
