The East African Safari Rally is a grueling 3,300 mile race through Kenya. Heat, rain, elevation changes and unpaved roads make this course the harshest rally race in the world. For the 1971 race, the winners drove a Datsun 240Z. These six-cylinder beauties had the combination of endurance and power needed to make the grueling trek when 80% of their competitors suffered mechanical failures before the finish line. The type went on to win the 1973 rally as well. Kit features decals for #11, the 1971 race winner.
