The 5th generation of Z33 FAIRLADY Z made its debut in August 2002. Going through revisions every year, in September 2005 it received a number of notable changes for its mid-cycle facelift in which introduced the newly designed front bumper, wheel, head light, tail lens and other exteriors. In January 2007 it was revised again and the engine hood featured a bulge to accommodate the also revised the new VQ35HR V6 engine.
